Although we've been fortunate enough to travel all over the country, at the end of the day there's no place like home. For us that means Spicewood, Texas and a little subdivision called Lakeside Beach, just 40 miles west of Austin - but it feels a million miles in the country. We love it here.

Unusual snowfall in February. Record cold followed by record heat and drought and wildfires. Climate change has wreaked havoc on our lake but I've not been home to photograph it.
