After 20+ years in the technology industry, Karen "retired" and spent a year studying photography at the Hallmark Institute. She was a part-time professional photographer specializing in children, and family portraits as well as special events for 5-6 years until her husband took ill with cancer. For 3 years she left the photography business to travel with Mike and enjoy their time together.
Although she enjoys practicing photography, it is the "memory-keeping" aspect of photography that Karen loves most. Capturing the people, the places, and stories that make up our lives.
